If you like waterfalls and rainforest have a look at this site - w w w.missionbeachwaterfalls.info Mission Beach is located about 1 1/2hrs south of Cairns and about 10 minutes from the Bruce Highway. Some of the prettiest beaches in QLD, ferry trips for day visits to Dunk Island resort and just a really nice place to visit. We visited about 4 years ago and liked it so much we stayed here!
