| Message | Yo yo!! Great to read your blog, sounds like you-re doing us proud out there! Glad you hit a hurdle at the first point, that means I win!! I was pretty cool until about 7 days ago when my similarly overloaded backpack had a barry and decided to bust a few seams. Luckily, a bit of Aussie ingenuity prevailed and I was away again-heres hoping the repair holds! Italy has been great, amazing sights and every bit what Id hoped for.Shit keyboards here tho!! Got that scooter- thanks for the language tips Fran!-and caned it down to Amalfi coast, just gorgeous and amazing weather. In a wet Venice now and heading to Austria tomorrow. Met some nice people but forever having the same conversations to start the friendhip then mourning their departure a couple of days later but all good! Hurdle two happended when Pol came to visit in Sorrento. The four day holiday became two when she was told, upon arivig at Stanstead, that her p.port had expired!! Frantic phone calls, a bit of cash and 48 hours later, it was renewed and she was in Italy. Good times were had. Her next hurdle came on trying to leave Italy when her booking number didnt match the name they had on their system and she was refused passage as she might be a terrorist!! Shes not incidentally... Eventually got away after much brain damage. Shes now on the case to easyjet with all legal guns firing!! Anyway, keep having fun, cant wait to catch u down under and keep in touch!! Love yooooooz both heaps! |

| Message | Hi Karl and Fran, Glad that you both are enjoying New York. If you are still in new york i really recomend going up the roccafella centre at night. You get great views over new york and you can take great pictures of empire state. Also just off times square there is a resturant called porkies.. It sells the best chicken wings that you have ever tasted and also the largest portions of food that you have ever seen. I will keep an eye out for the blog updates Take Care, Rich |
