MessageAs to Chris Joyce, Wow,I thought you were trash before this. You proved me right. I don't know how someone who was so happy with the work we did could turn out to be so unhappy. We put up with your taking back your deposit without notification because you thought we weren't coming even though we were already there,(you weren't), and the work was being done, to having to take post-dated checks so you could transfer funds. It took weeks to get the deposit back on the original proposal while we were working on your house. You gave us a post dated check on the final draw and we stood in your front yard while you told us in front of our employees that you loved the work we did and were very happy with your home. We held the check for you as requested. Now why in the world did you pay for something that you weren't happy with, why did you tell us you loved the way the house looked? I know you sold it at a profit which you could not have done with the way it looked before we got there. We also contaced the Maryland State Police and were told that no, there are no bench warrents and according to their records there never were. More lies. We should have checked to see if there were any on you!!! We will be contacting your work place to let them know what kind of person you are and to beware!

MessageMr. Virginia, As to your claims. I cannot let this go. When we contracted to do your home it was with the understanding, verbally because you were "a friend of the family", that you would be on site to help with the work that needed to be done. Your house was a mess and to help you keep costs down, you said you would be there to help. We completed all of the log work that was contracted. In addition we replaced your front porch, removed a window, closed the hole where the window was, moved the window where a door was, jacked up the porch, added new support beams as the old ones were rotted, all without added labor cost to you, also making a channel for your electric because you said you didn't want to see wires from your tv. You said you would pay for the materials that it would cost for the extras and that even fell short as you covered only half of it. And then we had to wait for the check for that. You were supposed to remove the rotting siding from the porch and dispose of it. Again, you did not, we did and at no charge because of your father. We stripped the old tongue and groove and replaced it with new log siding which you did pay for, but at no labor cost. You had more excuses for not having the money to pay us, /ie/, money being moved from one account to another, out of state check, changed addresses, you even said you lost your wallet. Come on... We got screwed royally by you. We went above and beyond what you asked us to do. We consider the source...

MessageCarmen and his wife Ann were long friends of our family. Carmen signed a contract for work on my house and took $11,000 of the $15,500 I signed the contract for and walked off without ever completing the log rot work.

Yesterday I found our he stiffed his own father on a truck. His father gave hime his old truck with the understanding he would make those payments. Carmen defaulted and his father, Carmen Sr. is now stuck holding the bill.

Carmen sold his home several years ago to avoid judgements against him in other States. He has little assets and expect you to pay of big down payment up front. My downpayment was used to finance his latest bankruptcy filing in Syracuse back in July.

Bottom line is to avoid these people. If they can screw friends of the family and their own parents, well, who would ever want to do business with these types of people. Feel free to E-mail me, I have documents that Carmen Mallore signed after he walked off the job stating he would finish the work.

Don't let these crooks on your property. He'll claim he worked for an outfit out West. He and his wife will show you pictures of large homes that have been restored - these homes were never contracted by Woody's, if he claims they were, ask him to show you the contracts. He'll also tell you a story about how he grew his restoration business too fast. How his workers stole from him - all untrue. The real reason his businesses have failed is because he's a crook.

Good for you and your quest to bring this guy to justice.
