| Message | Dear Patricia - Your artwork is beautiful. Since you liked ASOIAF, I would suggest to you the Stephen Covenant trilogy (the first trilogy although the second was not bad) by Stephen Donaldson and the Elric of Melnibone books by Michael Moorcock. The Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser novels and stories by Fritz Leiber were brilliant as well. I think they will inspire you to make more beautiful artwork while enjoying fantastic writing and stories. | Message | Patricia I just wanted to let you know I found out about you on George RR Martins site and I truly love the series as well and am just not enjoying the wait on the new book However I do love your artwork pertaining to the book. The Danery's portrait with the young dragons she hatched was exactly how i saw her in my mind, you definitely know how to bring imagination to life in your artwork/drawings. I also like the Avatar drawings and thought the water bender pics were beautiful and very alluring and eye catching, you know how to draw the female form beautifully and almost to the point where your drawing becomes enchanting to the casual observer. I am wondering if i would be able to email you a photo of my beautiful wife and see if you would be willing to draw her for me and perhaps my self in a format similar to the Avatar/song of fire and ice drawings. I think my wife is one of the most stunning woman inside and out that i have ever laid eyes on and would love to have a drawing of her in the way you drew the pick of Danery's and the water bender pic. For instance we have 4 Cane Corso Itallian Mastiffs who protect us and are our constant companions perhaps we could show them in the drawing with her. That is if you would be willing to draw her. I could pay you for your services of course and don't usually request this sort of thing from someone I do not know but the way you captured my attn in your drawings reminds me of when i catch a glimpse of my wife and am spellbound |
