Message | Stumbled on your website,I am a avid collector, vintage rodder, reformed street racer.I have been collecting Flathead Speed Equipment since I was in High School {65 next year}.I have owned over 100 rods, once they were cheap{as in dollars},I have forgotten more than I can remember.I truly enjoy the old iron and I have been blessed with some real good iron {got rid of the wife}and her dogs and cats.I am presently helping my 87 year old father putting together his first street rod.......it"s a 34 ford tudor sedanthat was totally gennie stock,he has had the car since 1966 but had originally spotted it up in Hollywood before the War around 1939 he says,it has a 1936 pink slip and hasn"t been registered since the 50s.Here"s the real kicker,I also have a gennie 34 tudor, but mine has been in storage since 1953,it came off a used car lot in Downey ,Ca.it has a 3/8x3/8 59A with Smith heads and edelbrock 3pot with 97s,Ducoil ignition,Harman Collins Cam,and the engine is brand new..........I had Bob Kennedy woodgrain the dash and windowframes in the late 60s,has a 4" Dago Axle,40 juice brakes up front{I still have the Lincolns that were onit},Lincolns on the rear, and a nice Haldibrand Quickchage in the back.It sat for many years covered up in a barn in Downey Calif.until I bought it in 1968. I also have a 34 3 window with a 350 chevy,a full fendered B Roadster that I have been running a Cragar head Banger in for many years. Av8PloogieAaol.com...Like your website |
