MessageWell now, the secret's out and you all know who I really am!

Matt, your continuing stories are the highlight of my day; can't wait to read the next chapter. Only wish I could convince your parents to get a computer or online access at the library so they can freely converse with you and enjoy all of this!

MessageMatt,

Nice job with the blog. It's educational and fun! Underneath all the information you are providing there seems the be a healthy amount of respect for the culture and the people. I look forward to reading more.

Hi Matt:

Enjoyed your second entry as much as the first. You are truly a gifted writer. The words just seem to pour out, and you make it so interesting.

P.S. Before your time, we had a Trader Vic's on West Grand Boulevard in Detroit. Our work group used to go there for holiday celebrations and I once woke up the next morning with a flower in my hair wondering how I made it home in one piece the previous evening after imbing in those famous Mai Tai's!

MessageFirst off, we all miss you. Second off, stop having so much fun you're making me jealous, he he.

All Thai food is not spicy. In fact I usually order mine mild and it has no "hot" to it, just enough spice to make it tasty. Pad Thai is my favorite.

Glad you made a friend, and he's probably glad he met you.

I think you should stir up things up alittle with all the "I Love The King" maybe wear Elvis Presley t-shirts with: "The King" printed on it. Just a fun idea, don't want to get you banned from the country or anything. Keep up the good writing, enjoying it.

MessageMatt,

Great description of Patpong, I think you captured it well in word and picture (at least the less seedy side of Patpong). Keep up the good work -- even though I've lived here for well over a year, I'm learning more and more about Bangkok with every update you make.

MessageA great report on our night out. I will have to be sensitive in future where I take you!!
It was a blast at Radio City to watch all those female dancers pose for you. I am glad you enjoyed your trip to the bathroom. I told the guy to be gentle on you, so next time watch out!!

MessageAloha Matt!

Holly just turned me on to your blog this morning. It's fantastic! What a great adventure and a wonderful experience for your family. I envy you.

Have you developed a taste for Thai food yet?

If you ever find yourself in our part of the world (the Big Island of Hawaii) please let us know so we can get together.

Mahalo for the great pictures and info.

Aloha,
Kris and George
