Really pleased to see the Tatung is still well supported.
Thanks so much for running this site and allowing people to enjoy their old favourites.
Keep on going.

MessageHi, love your site. In the '80s I worked for Fydler Microprogramming (later FMP Business Systems) and wrote many of the titles you have listed as produced by (Fydler). I would have been 17-19 years old at the time, still employed as a software developer now at 56!

I would love to find some of my old software somewhere to run on an emulator. I think I still have an Einstein with 80 col card in the loft at my house in the UK, I live and work in the US now.

Back then we wrote tons of software for the Einstein, mostly custom software for local businesses, but there are the off the shelf packages you have listed too. The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon had all the records of their Donkeys and Donators on Eisteins at one point.

MessageHello, I used to work for TATUNG 1985-87 which was in Telford. I was working in Stores and had many dealings with Lawrence Lu who was always digging out bits for the Einstein. I am surprised the old machine is still available! What the price of the TC01 now? I still have an old Dragon in the loft - well wrapped and I hope, working, belonging to my son who learned his basic skills on this machine. He is a "consultant" and still working on computers. He did love his Dragon and spent many, many hours of use - mainly games - and writing programs way back then. Happy Days, smilie

MessageI have an Tatung Einstein sitting on a shelf for ages, not being able to find any information about it, and almost forgot about it.
Today I stumbled on your site looking via primrosebank dotnet following a thread about the BBC Master.
Talk about luck!
I (hopefully) can finally get the Einstein working again!!
Yay for your site and the Internet!!!

Best Regards,

Robert

MessageHi, i visit your site because when i was young i did not love too much home computers, but now i am 54 and discover what i lost many years ago. This PC is one of the best between the machines of the eighties. I would like to improve my IT skills also by using this emulator. Fortunatly there are many people like You, who have saved technological testimonies of that fantastic era.
Do you know if there is someone who make some hardware emulation machine of this PC?
I read there are machines for the old PCs emulation, starting from hardware, not from software. Because now it's very difficult to find original hardware.
Thanks for your contribution.
best regards Gianni
