| Message | A great job of putting all this together Alan. Been to 3 reunions - or is it 4? - some good memories from the photos on the reunion pages. Planning another/several on Sat 29th Sept; Tues 23rd Oct (Midsummer Nights Dream at the school) and Wed 24th Oct 2012. | Message | I was a pupil from 1961-8.My brother Terry from 63-70.My sister,Pat, from 53-60.My brother is the unidentified pupil No10 in the 63/4 1b class photo.I came across this site by accident today.I passed my 11+ exam at Upperthorpe School which no longer exists.I was in the chorus of HMS Pinafore and The Gondoliers(tho' my name does not appear in this programme).I was in the Grand Move from Leopold Street to Stradbroke(in my second year I think), and caught the Little Bus(31)from Walkley to town,and then the 93bus with my pass. Was anyone (including staff),not scared of "Amy" Johnson? I eventually became an art teacher because of her! [email protected] |
