| Message | fantastic kraan stuff, I'm a kraan fan since over 30 years, my first kraan concert 1979 was an unbelievable event. But I can't remember some dates. Perhaps you can help me. in the autumn tour 1982 (mannheim concert 10th october), the drummer was gerry brown really? And the gig in mannheim also, at 15th december 1983 I remember Hattler,Bischof,McMillen, but who was the drummer and I'm nearly shure, there was no guitar player?? my last kraan gig 2 years ago in Karlsruhe was magic, the band plays powerfull, fascinating....... waiting for the next tour gerhard |

And thx to this website i can hear songs i thought i'd never hear, keep up the good work,, the music is still the best. | Message | Hello Kraan from Australia. I have been a fan of Kraan since I first heard you late '74. I only have a few early albums. Hard to get your material out here. Above all your sound is original and individual, and use of material as it suits eg. the Eastern sounds. Favourite tracks: Picnic International, Holiday Am Marterhorn, Let it Out, Degado, Son of the Sun Unique drumming from Jan with fascinating sense of time - very creative and always sounds interesting and adding to the whole experience. Pappert's sax was such a strong element- hope he comes back. Nice reedy sound and lots of character. Wish I could play guitar like Peter - very tasty solos Pete! Choppy rhythmns and some nice chord sounds. Lyrics don't get the way of the instrumentals. Evocation of "sunsets" occurs to me a lot in Kraan tunes - I wonder if anyone else picks up on that? cheers for now then, Peter PS I'd love to jam with you guys! |
