My GGG Grandfather was Lenhart Molter and of course my GGG Grandmother was Barbara Ehlinger. My GG Grandfather was Anthony Molter and his wife was Victoria Noel. My G Grandfather was John Anthony Molter, son of Anthony Molter. J.A. Molter was Prosecuting Attorney of Marshall Co. His sons names were Louis and John. John became a priest. His daughter's names were Marie, who was my Grandmother, Ioan Molter and Irene Molter. I am the daughter of Paul Anthony White, 1 of 5 children of my Grandmother Marie Molter White. Great to meet all of you. Which branch of Lenhart Molter's family are you on? |

| Message | My GGG Grandfather Lenhart Molter{Leonhart) came to America in 1847 into the port of New York. My GGG Grandmother was Barbara Ehlinger.Lived in Ohio, New Riegel, Ohio and in 1880 moved to Indiana, Plymouth. Both buried in Plymouth Indiana. My GG Grandfather was born in Germany, GGG Grandmother was French. Due to War and boarders changing hands all the time the Cencus list birth places as Germany, Netherlands, France, holland. | Message | My father's parents were both from Germany and came to the US in the early 1900's. My Dad was born here in 1933. The family went back to Germany shortly after he was born but, quickly decided that they didn't like what was going on and returned to the US permanently. Do you have a lot of information about Molters in Europe? |

| Message | Hello! I stumbled upon your site and thought I better sign in and add to your network of Molters. I've lived in Wisconsin all my life, as did my parents, and my grandparents moved here from Chicago some 60+ years ago. My family tree is good at producing girls, and as result may be the last to have the name as I now have 4 girls of my own who will be Molters as long as they want to be I suppose. I've always been told my ancestors immigrated from Holland. You ain't much if you ain't Dutch. And all that crap. Cheers everyone anyway! |
