MessageWe no longer are in the PP group, but since our Lauren Elizabeth is waiting for Mommabeth in the Shanghai SWI we belong to the Shanghai parents group. Everything you are told re getting just the right child, and how you forget the anguish of the long wait are totally true. Beth's Lauren was given Chinese name of Li - translates to Jasmine & that is the name of my older granddaughter. She is very beautiful, and her nickname is Li Li (pronounced Le Le) which was her grandfather's nickname when he was little. My middle name is Lee. I tell you this to encourage you. Soon, very soon--

MessageI am so excited to see a blog from a couple in Arizona. My husband and I are still paperchasing. We hope to be DTC in July. We live in Paradise Valley (just moved here from California). Oh and I love Howard Stern too! He may be a pig but he's hilarious.

MessageHi Donna and Joe - sounds like you guys are really moving along! I am so glad you liked the baby slippers from China - I think you might want to paint Lauren's room and then sit in there with a journal when you are feeling close to Lauren and write all your thoughts and dreams. Then the room will take on her personality and not be "empty"
