MessageGlad to hear you're all still safe and afloat. I'll be sure to say a prayer for better weather and shorter hurricane season.

MessageHi:
saw a recent e-mail you sent to Capt. Turk Cross about men on vacations. I visited the sight with some feelings of nostalgia- I lived on my Freedom 38, MARIAH, for a year; tied up behind Sombrero Resort. Spent a lot of time at Dockside and Capt.Turk and I had, on some rare ocassions, a beer or two. Have many happy memories of Marathon and the many friends I made there. Still come back a few times a year to fish the flats and catch up on the latest dirt. I'll come by and say hi next time I'm there. Jerry Hackett

MessageHello! Let me first say that I am so sorry for the loss of B.J, I, unfortunately was not fortunate enough to meet him. But I do have to say that I very much enjoyed seeing all of my friends that attended your Celebration of Life for him. I lived in the Keys and was at Dockside everyday for about 15 years(I lived on my boat in the harbour) It was great to see pictures of Richie, Freddy Bye, Too Tall Lee, Jen, Josh, Tommy Tunes, Lynn, and Mike and Mary. They were all terrific friends of mine, and I'm sure your son's too.
May your seas always be calm, and your winds fair. My best of luck to you on your journeys through life.

MessageI have enjoyed you website more than ANY I have come across. You are an inspiration to us.
Thank you for sharing your life and family. You have magic in your words. We only gunkhole and daysail in our Catalina 22, but through your chronicles and picures, yearn to sail the keys and maybe make the run to the Bahamas someday.
Thanks again!

We sail a Lancer 28 (81) and love it. She sails beautifully and with the tiller you can get a real feel for her. I only had her out about 15 miles in the ocean. She been saeworthy so far. Do you feel confident in blue water sailing?

Thanks
