MessageLove your website.
I like that you have so much info (model sheets, notes, templates and links). I specially like your stand on Walt Stanchfield's notes (Rant n Rave - The right thing to do) Good Luck to Mrs Stanfield.

Looking forward to the publication when it comes out.

MessageThis is the best animation site i've ever come across! Everything in it is gold dust! Thank you so much smilie Its nice to be inspired by great people in the animation business, especially in the US. Thanks Jon and Steve for being so generous with your time and putting this site together. Your work looks great-maybe some day I'll get to America and meet you.

Take care
Aaron

Are there any good books that you recommend taking a look at for Maya.

MessageWill there be a template for layout paper on animation meat anytime soon?

Will there also be lesson on how to animation action scenes?
A lot of my favorite action sequences are from Japanese Animation though there are plenty of American cartoons with action sequences though very few are recent.

Most of the best action cartoons I remember were in my childhood to preteen years. Xmen, 1980's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and 1980's Transformers though much of these titles are old I think they are better than their current counterparts.

They don't make that many action cartoons in the USA anymore.
They make mostly shows like Camp Lazlo though I love the comedic cartoons I want variety and I want know how to create awesome fight scenes and how to convey drama as well which I think are the strengths of Japanese animation.

I dislike a lot of Japanese Animation because of the perversion in a lot of them!
I find the humor in Japanese cartoons to be stale compared to American cartoons!
