| Message | I just wanted to say that if it wasn't for WWE On Demand I'd still think "why did RVD mention his name as one of the guys he looked up to?" Being 25 and fairly young during the mid-late 80's all I really knew of you was the Genius character and 90% of the MATCHES I actually saw were just you getting beat up by Hogan or Beefcake. They have Wrestlefest '88 on WWE On Demand and you had a match with Jim Neidhart. During that match you did a step up moonsault off the top and then I realized why RVD said what he said. I believe that if you had been pushed harder, people would not only be saying guys like Steamboat and Savage and Mr. Perfect inspired them, but more would admit Leapin Lanny was 10 years ahead of everyone else when it came to that high flying style we see today. Let me say I'll be hunting for as much old school of you I can find. |
