| Message | Hello Lanny, I will start out by saying I will never forget that battle royal back in the '80's when you wore a medieval suit of armor, sans helmet. I was actually a large fan of yours and was disappointed when you stopped appearing on wrestling. I have met a few wrestlers live, typical fan meets wrestler at autograph and photo session. But I did get to talk to the Ultimate Warrior at the Arizona State Fair. I would like to point out the I am a HUGH fan of Randy's. I am very dismayed that my all time favorite wrester, that actually got me to give wrestling a chance, is one I have never even seen live. As a Family man these days I don't have the money for live events, but we watch wresling still (But we sensor some of it these days for the kids) I love poetry and am very pleased to see your efforts to help with children's smoking! Way to go Lanny. I just read about your dad's sit-up record...all I can say is MOST IMPRESSIVE! I only made it to 5'8 and 200 pounds as an adult and was lucky to be 4'8 as a high school freshman, so my dreams of becoming a wrestler were cut short. Altho Rey Mysterio gives hope to us smaller guys, haha. Well, I was able to achieve my other dream and that is Kung Fu. I have had a few local tournaments with light contact, and I hope to someday compete nationally. Well, remember, the Poffo's will always have a fan in me. One last thing, I once won tickets to wrestling with my immitation of Randy |
