I see you are still the one that can speak out for the causes you believe in, that is great keep up the work. It has been a long time since we first met in that classroom in Downers Grove. I remember that year you took off to travel with your dad when he went on tour. Keep up what you do, you drove some teachers crazy with the poems but we kids all liked them. Now you are reaching the kids and soon the grandkids of the ones you grew up with. |

| Message | I think that someone in an earlier post reported that Corporal Kirschner died this month at his home. I guess the report was false. Someone who had been known to impersonate him, in fact, died (Thomas Spears). Michael (Crpl) Kirshner is alive and well. Just thought I'd pass on the news to correct an earlier report in this guessbook. |

| Message | I have now declared myself a non-Smoker because of Lanny  Last year I quit using patches for 2 months and will power. I can tell you was NOT easy and being addicted like I was, was amazing! I still thought of smoking everyday until yesterday! Yesterday I sat down for a cup of tea at night before i went to bed and one thing occured to me...I have not even thought of smoking since the previous day...so i went 24 hours unaided, (stop using the patches months and months ago) and forgot about smoking! I am over the moon and I can now offically say I am a Non Smoker. Lanny made my mind up for me last year (just by looking at this website) and as a health care professional (my job) I can now motivate others to stop! Anyone who is wanting to stop smoking...If i can do it you can do it!Thank You Lanny! |
