| Message | Oliver is 5 years old and William is 6 1/2 years old and they are new fans of yours. William wants to know how you felt when Andre the Giant threw you out of the ring and you had blood all over your face. Oliver would like you to use his favorite move "the rabbit punch" when you wrestle. I am Kurt Hanson, these boys' dad and I was always Leaping Lanny Poffo when my friends and I would wrestle. | Message | To James Sweeney: Once again, Lanny is correct. I work with people everyday and they ask me how I am doing? I always respond, "I'm gainfully employed and I am thankful to be employed." There are so many people suffering that I am thankful for what I do have. Be happy with who YOU are and the rest will fall into place. I don't have a great paying job but I get to experience the joys of working with people especially the kids. (BTW, the boys are all huge wrestling fans and I am going to have Lanny video day very soon with them.) Life is what you make it. I am fortunate just as our favorite wrestler. Lanny has made choices that have kept him healthy and happy when many of his peers are sadly no longer with us. We are lucky to be here. My wife turned 40 on Monday and she was all depressed. I told her to think of all the men and women serving their country who hope to see tomorrow and she's had 40 years. Not every day will be great, but tomorrow can always be better. That is what makes me smile. Cheer up Lad because better days are ahead. |
