MessageI've just read your Post Office Telephones story and found it very entertaining. I would have been about 15 when you started working for them. I had a fascination for those telephones, because then they were so standard, not like now, when a telephone and a computer are difficult to tell apart. I still have one in use.

Your website is also very pleasing to the eye. I like the way you vary the colours.

Thank you for putting your stories online.

Messagehi Dennis, i am from Kota Kinabalu (formerly known as Jesselton) Sabah (formerly known as North Borneo) Malaysia. This year I would be 47.

I really enjoy reading your side of story and wow..its been so long since I seen these pictures of my top great favourite rock band.. thanks to you!!!

You might be surprise how music can really reach soul and people around the world. I was first introduced to Deep Purple by my late elder brother, Lan. It was in LP, at that time. I think it was during the early years of 70's, and I was not even 10 yet. And he was I think, 15 years old, just like you were. He was already into music and in the midst of gathering his own band.

At that time, I was at first 'shocked' to hear the vocals of 'I didn't know who' and the guitar, the keyboard, the drum, everything. But I just stayed in my brother's room and listened. As you were, and still do, I was spellbound and fascinated until today. I am proud to say that Deep Purple still is no.1 in my list. Always been Deep Purple.

I guess, (only hours ago) did I realize that, it must had been the Deep Purple who influenced my singing, in a way that you know what I mean..hahaha..
