Extra <br> added

I've noticed that since the guestbook is updated there is a extra <br> added when I post a message. So for example, when I use a ENTER in the textarea and post my message, there are 3 blanc lines displayed in stead of one. Now the message looks too long, when it is sometimes very short text. Can you fix this?

Thanks for reporting this bug!

It should be working as intended now (whitespace and extra linebreaks are removed from the beginning and end of messages).

At the beginning and the end it now looks good. But the problem is when I type in the textbox for example:

Hello

blablabla

blabla

Bye

It will be displayed as:

Hello

blablabla

blabla

Bye

It has too many ENTERS between the lines. Can you fix that?

We'll try again...

It should now work fine on Windows machines. If someone reading these posts are using either Unix/Linux or Mac, it would be nice to get your feedback also!

Update: I'll look further into this issue as I'm quite sure that Mac/Linux users are getting a different output than Windows users.

Update 2: Linebreaks should now work for Windows and Mac/Linux users.
