Default guestbook glitch returning "disabled"

Hi ~

I have done some more testing of our guestbook to understand what is the problem.

It appears there is some glitch that causes a message to appear saying "most links have been disabled due to abuse"

But, there does not appear to be any abuse happening in connection with our guestbook! instead, it turns out that messages will post as long as the text portion of the message simply says "test"

but, if one tries to post more words, an actual message, non-abusive, from the same email addies, then, the "disabled" message appears!

how can this be fixed?

thank you, Ad

Default Re: guestbook glitch returning "disabled"

NB I understand now - the message means that people cannot include hypertext links in their guestbook messages!

That is the common denominator in those instances where messages posted to our guestbook fail.

I shall post a message to let people know they cannot include their http:www etc. links!!

I no longer need an explanation!

cheers, Ad
