Well, we don't want abuse, and this has solved most issues.

people trying to sign our guestbook are also unable to post - and get the message "Sorry, but most links have been disabled because of abuse"

I cannot think of any reason this is happening - why does it?

we know of no abuse by anyone, and have never had problems before

is there a spam bot attacking Ultraguest books, or is this some error/glitch?

how can it be repaired so that our guestbook functions normally again?

I understand now - the message means that people cannot include hypertext links in their guestbook messages!

That is the common denominator in those instances where messages posted to our guestbook fail.

I shall post a message to let people know they cannot include their http:www etc. links!!

Just a thanks for doing this, as the amount of spammers trying to put links in here all the time was horrific and I didn't want to keep coming here to remove them or make real guests wait to see their posts.
