Question ownership of guestbook transfer

I'm the administrator of 2 different websites. I have used your guestbooks for both, using my own personal email addresses. Can I transfer these to the website owners's email accounts? I know I can change the email address, but will the login still be with my accounts, or will it change to theirs?

Unhappy Re: ownership of guestbook transfer

Glad to finally find this site up and working again. I see no one has answered this yet, so.... if I post a reply to it, maybe it will catch someone's attention and maybe get me an answer to it. Maybe????

Hello J (sorry I couldn't find the squiggly things on my keyboard!)

I believe you can change the email, thereby transfering the account, but you will not be able to change the user name (not without getting Andreas to do it for you anyway)... Check this out: http://forum.ultraguest.com/faq.php?...update_profile maybe it'll help you out??? I suppose you know this already, but it makes sense that your login details will change/ be amended. So why don't you just try it, if anything you'll still know all the details either way and will be able to login whether or not the change works... Also take a look at this thread: http://forum.ultraguest.com/showthread.php?t=265, it maybe useful...

Good luck!

This is actually a FAQ for this forum and does not really apply to the guestbook login. I'm sorry if the FAQ was a little confusing...

Hi,

Sorry for not responding to your question.

The e-mail you enter in the Control Panel is the e-mail used for login. If you change your e-mail you must use the new e-mail to login. You may therefore you may transfer the accounts to website owners without any problems.
