Congo flag question
flag of congo?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello I'm using the ultraguest guestbook on my website at http://www.fondationmaisha.org . This is a site for a non-profit organsation and consists of a colloboration between congolese and belgian volunteers. My question is, when someone enters his location in the guestbook, and he's from Congo (Democratic Republic), it isn't the flag of Congo that appears but the old flag of Zaire (former name of Congo) under president Mobutu. I know this is for 99,9% of the people on the planet a very small problem, but for our friends in Congo it's quite a dissapointment. There rebuilding their country, and a wrong flag is a bit unworthy I think. I hope you can fix this problem one way or another friendly thanks in advance in name of Fondation Maisha Congo-Belgium Pieter-Jan Breyne |

Re: Congo flag question
Speaking from an English point of view, it would be nice if there were flags available also for England, Scotland, Wales etc. I am proud to be English, and I know many fellow UK compatriots that are equally proud to be Scottish, or Welsh etc. It's a shame that so many systems these days always treat our combined countries as one thing. We may exist together, but we are still countries in our own right, ruled by the same queen or not.

Re: Congo flag question
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback! I'm not sure how I would be able to update the flags without feedback from users such as yourself. Lots of countries out there... Here is the new flag I found for the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the CIA World Fact Book: . In the gustbook the two countires are now "Congo" and "Congo (Democ.)". I can change the names if something else is more precise. Zaire has been removed from ultraguest.com. I could not find any flags for England, Scotland or Wales at the CI World Fact Book, but I will do some more searching and come up with those as well... Best regards, Andreas UltraGuest.com |

Hi Andreas
Flags: England (St George Cross) : Wales : Scotland : Northern Ireland : If you tell me the size/type of the flags you have, I could prepare small images of these for you. If you want me too, please give me the details and address to mail the flags to. Cheers Cug |
