Can I change the colors?
 

Hello,

I've just started using the guestbook, but I have some additional questions

• Is it possible to change the blue color (google adds, ultraguest add)?
• and is it possible to change the "name,location,..." text color?
• Can I disable the "private" option?

My website layout does not contain blue, just red, black and grey.

Additional question :D :
When you click on the ultraguest add now he opens the site in the same frame. Is it possible to change that so it opens in a new browser window?

I'm sorry that I have not answered you previously. I have for some reason overlooked your messages.... :o Here are the answers to your questions:


Is it possible to open the guestbook in a new window?
Yes it is! To get a link to open in a new browser window, what you do is add the target="_blank" attribute to your link tag, like this:

<a href="http://www.ultraguest.com/?id=1041779607" target="_blank">My Guestbook</a>

You can also open the new window using JavaScript which will give you more options on the appearance of the new window. Please check out this tutorial by John Pollock: http://www.pageresource.com/jscript/jwinopen.htm


Can I change the colors of the Google Ads?
Unfortunately the answer is no. I will try to add this feature in the future, but it will never be completely custimizable since you can then set all the colors in the ads to be the same as the background of your guestbook - rendering the ads invisible. I hope to create a few "templates" to choose from in the future.


Is it possible to change the colors of the guestbook questions (such as name and location)?
At present, no. This is also a feature on the "wish-list"....


Can I disable the private messages?
Not yet... This feature will be added later this month.
