MessageHello Mrs. Patz,
I wish you could come back to Ruby. It was so fun going a whole week with nothing to do but art. The crafts you taught us to make were kind of easy, but at the same time they were difficult. Well I got to go now. Please email me soon. smilie

MessageDear Patz:
My name is Catherine Johnson, and I had a opportunity to participate in the hands-on workshop with you at the past SCAEA mini-conference at Francis Marion University with Howard Frye, Feb 2007. I was very impressed. I also was at the state SCAEA Fall conference a couple of years ago where you were the featured artist/ speaker. I am the assistant grant manager of North Vista Elementary School's arts grants and we are an ABC site. I am working on the plan for next year at this time. We would like to have you come for a week residency next school year 2007-08. What dates are you still available for? What is your fee structure and what would you require for supplies/ travel, etc? I'm thinking about maybe the 4th gr, with storytime animal sculptures and a teacher in-service included in the contract. Let me know if you are interested in a more detailed idea of what we might do.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

MessageDear Patz,

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your workshop here in Columbia. Most of my work is done on the wheel, and I am not a hand builder, but maybe now I will be.
Thank you so much for coming and teaching us new techniques.
