Maggie says, "It's so cool that you rode around the world on a teeny little motor cycle! I wish you would have stayed for the fireworks!" Lane and I are grateful for your assistance with the pannekaker and waffel recipes. The effect of your stop here leaves tasty ripples, which I am sure will be enjoyed by Decorahans for years to come. As an ethnic German/Polish American having been overwhelmed by Norwegian-immigrant culture for 20 years, I now have the tiniest inklings of the possibility of a new found appreciation for Norwegian culture. Your cooking and motorcycle are fine embassadors. You are a very fine person too. I am happy for you that you found the meaning of life halfway through your trip. Good luck the rest of the way!
